Prof. Jack C.P. CHENG obtained his Doctoral degree from Stanford University in the United States. He is currently the full professor and associate head in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Associate Director of GREAT Smart Cities Institute, and Director of Building Information Modelling (BIM) Lab at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research interests include building information modelling (BIM), digital twin, artificial intelligence, construction robotics, blockchain, carbon auditing and management, smart and low carbon buildings, and construction and facility management. He has led more than 29 research projects in smart and green buildings and construction. He is also an author of over 300 international journal and conference publications.
